Ah the toddler years. There are so many great memories formed during these years when our kids are young – tantrums, fussy eating (thankfully both Luke and Cody haven’t reached this stage yet!), climbing the crib, the fun “NO” stage (Luke’s favorite is “I don’t want to!!”), the independence kicks in full force and we wonder why we were so excited to see them reach these milestones!
The part of toddler-hood that is my FAVORITE (sense the sarcasm here) is feeling like I get “beat up” from my toddler! He’s either elbowing me in boob while climbing on me, accidentally head butting me in the face, pinching me on the arms when I’m getting him dressed or absolutely killing my back because he wants me to carry him up and down the stairs (I’m telling you right now there will be no carrying two kids while one is in the front pack Tricia!). Why does he think it’s so funny to try and poke my eyes ears and nose?! It’s toddler torture! 🙂
I want to hear your “favorite” part of toddler-hood! I’m sure I remember hearing stories about hair pulling, face slapping and actually, come to think of it…butt slapping too! 🙂
In the meantime, I think I may need to wear one of these….
