First of all, how great is it that we FINALLY had a day with sunshine and no rain?! The weather had really begun to take it’s toll on me and we have so much work outside to do around our “farm” that it is nice to at least have one day of good weather to remind me “this too shall pass” and I can’t wait for the hot weather to kick in! We had our first family dinner outside tonight on the deck and I took advantage of letting the warm breeze in the house while I made dinner tonight by opening up both french doors! It was nice to see Luke run in and out while I could keep an eye on him. I really need to get a sand box or something out there for him – any ideas?
There’s also been quite a lot going on with my struggle with infertility and I’ve come across a few things that I wished I had many months ago so I wanted to share my latest “must haves” for anyone trying to get pregnant! The products I’ve tried over the past couple weeks have all been through Fairhaven Health and they have a great website for fertility, pregnancy and nursing products. They have the most fertility supplements that I’ve seen on the web and I’ve been taking the Fertile CM and have absolutely been able to tell a night and day difference since I’ve been taking it. The hubs has been trying out their FertilAid for Men and also seems to like it.
I have two new favorite products!!! I am proud to say that I will NEVER use ovulation test strips again! I have been using their Fertile Focus Ovulation Predictor and it is so much easier than those urination test strips! My favorite thing about it is that it’s only $30 and it’s re-usable for unlimited testing! It’s a small microscope with a light on the bottom that shows you with a single drop of saliva if you’re fertile…or not!
My other favorite thing that I didn’t know existed were these adorable fertility bracelets! They are beautifully made and they have Rose Quartz, Aventurine and Pearls which are known for promoting fertility and reproductive health.
Rose quartz, also known as the “stone of love”, has been said to encourage fertility in many ways. It helps one achieve emotional balance and well-being by supporting acceptance and reducing the stress often experienced by those trying-to-conceive. It is said to promote self-love and encourage the love of others. It is further believed to promote positive energy and confidence, while easing fears and promoting health. Rose quartz is believed to enhance overall reproductive wellness, strength, and love – encouraging optimal fertility.
Green aventurine is associated with the the birth cycle of life. It is said to have a stabilizing and calming effect that promotes emotional tranquility. It is believed that this stone is particularly helpful for those that have experienced infertility issues as it is said to promote good luck. – Fairhaven Health
Here are a few of the pictures I took:
This is a great pick me up gift for anything who’s been a little “stressed out” while trying to conceive!
If you like Yoga, they have a wonderful DVD for TTC too!
One thing that we haven’t had a chance to use, but I promise I’ll write as much as I can on this topic without my husband wanting to kill me….they have an at home Sperm Check Fertility Test!
Reading the results of the Sperm Check test is simple; you either get a positive or negative result. A positive result means that your sperm count is above 20 million sperm per milliliter of semen. A negative result signifies that the count is under the 20 million sperm per milliliter threshold, and more testing by your physician may be needed. – Fairhaven Health
It’s a great way to tell, at home, if your partner needs to go for further testing or if you simply need a little peace of mind! You can get your own here and for further info on MORE of the products that Fairhaven Health offers!
