Here’s a simple and fun craft for kids of any age, making bird feeders! The best time to make these bird feeders is the beginning of the Winter, when food for birds is scarce!
You’ll need: peanut butter, bird seed, toilet paper rolls, string to hang your bird feeder.
I put the string on before adding the peanut butter so it was a little
easier to handle during the spreading process!
We’ve been collecting paper towel holders and toilet rolls for this project so I’m sure we have enough to keep making them through the summer! You can use any bird feed and Luke was excited this morning to wake up and see if there were any birds eating the bird feed! We used the Costco brand natural peanut butter which is easy to spread than some of the other thicker peanut butters. We’ve been eating this peanut butter for a while and it’s my new favorite, especially because it has no added “junk” to it!
