One of the classes we have really enjoyed taking with the boys has been the Music Pups class for kids ages (1-4). This class has been great to help Luke learn patience (waiting his turn for the microphone!), practice his listening skills (from the teacher AND Mommy!) and help expand his attention span by learning to sit still for longer than 2 minutes at a time (this kid is ALWAYS on the move)!! I really love all the musical instruments he’s exposed to and how they encourage great participation, curiosity and exploration from the kids!
Are you looking for a special way to celebrate your kid(s) birthdays? Check out the Music Pups Birthday Bash (ages 1-4) at The West Chester Academy of Music of Dance! Jennie and I have absolutely loved taking our music pups classes with the boys and I would love to try this out for one of Luke’s future birthdays!
What does the birthday bash include?
The first 15 minutes of the party is a meet and greet time, followed by 45 minutes of musical party time, and then 30 minutes for munching, visiting, and celebrating! You bring the food, drinks, plates, forks and napkins. They provide the preschool sized tables, chairs, and tablecloths.
They will even do the party favors for you! They will fill your party favor bags with brightly colored musical instruments and a “Come back and try a free class” card. Favor bags are $5.00 each, and you pay only for the number you give away on the day of the party. What a great way to save you the hassle of doing it yourself!
Parties are designed for no more than 20 children and cost only $150.
For further information visit their website or call them directly at 513-829-2345.
It’s also worth mentioning that they offer a variety of other classes including dance, music and acting classes! I definitely want to eventually get Luke playing an instrument as he gets older (I grew up with piano lessons!) and really love all the options West Chester Academy offers.
