I am entering into week 30 this week! September feels like so far away but when I look at the calendar I feel like 1o weeks is right around the corner, especially with the way the first half of this year has flown by!
My post last week was about how I am surviving the heat and I am so grateful to have some cooler weather this week! I am starting to get things together for baby girl’s room and have been enjoying seeing more and more PINK!
One thing that has been getting me through some lower back pain has been this Belly UpIt by MamaDoc! It has really made a huge difference in supporting my back and lifting my belly enough to help make my life so much more comfortable during this pregnancy. I had no issues carrying Luke in pregnancy but this time around I had no idea just how much I was still lifting and carrying Luke here and there which was killing my back! I’ve carried lower with both my pregnancies and this also doesn’t help with lower back pains! Once I stopped lifting him completely and got better shoe support (flip flops are a big no-no for supporting your back in general, never mind during pregnancy!) that helped too!
Check out this picture of my 30 week baby bump! If I’m doing a lot of walking or standing I’ve got to have my Belly UpIt! It’s also fantastic because it has a little pocket on the inside that fits a standard size heat/ice pack! The ice pack feels so great in this summer heat! Here’s a few more benefits to the Belly UpIt:
- Promotes Back and Abdominal Support
- Eases Back and Leg Pain
- Promotes Proper Posture
- Provides Extra Support to the Hips
- May relieve bladder discomfort
- Innovative inner pocket holds a standard size ice/heat pack
- Easily Adjustable
- Comfortable and Secure Compressed Fit
- Moisture Wicking Rayon from Bamboo Fabric
I’ve also used and loved their PregHose and Compression Socks! They are fantastic because although you don’t want to wear socks during the summer, it really helps to keep the swelling down in my legs and feet.
