This Easter Day wreath turned out a lot cuter than I expected! Well worth the time invested in this one!
What do you need:
(2) Packages of Green Fun Fur Yarn
1/2 Yard of Daisy Ribbon (any flower would work and any color would work, I used pastel colored daisies)
Push Pins (I used pins that would coordinate with my flowers because the pins will be used to hold the flowers onto the wreath)
Package of Styrofoam Easter Eggs (again, I choose pastel colored eggs to coordinate)
Take the first package of Fun Fur and and tie the end around the wreath. With the end anchored to the wreath, wrap the Fun Fur around the wreath, making sure to tightly wrap the yarn so it doesn’t get loose later on. You’ll be pulling and pushing the yard so that it’s a nice tight wrap all the way around until you run out of yarn with the first package. When you run out, tie the end to the end of the second package of Fun Fur and continue wrapping until you’ve completely covered the styrofoam wreath (this is a little time consuming, but remember, well worth it).
Attach the daisy ribbon (or flower ribbon of your choice) to the wreath by cutting the ribbon into individual flowers and using the coordinating push pins to attach the flowers to the wreath.
Attach the styrofoam easter eggs to the wreath with toothpicks.
Hang your beautiful wreath on your door with either a wreath hook, like I’ve done below, or you could use a 1 1/2″ piece of ribbon, like the Valentine’s Day wreath I did recently.
What do you think? This was so much fun! Let me know if you decide to try making this one and if you make any changes to it. I would love to see your creative ideas too.
