Cucinova, pronounced “que-ch-nova”, opened its doors last week in the Kenwood area and I was thankful they asked me, along a few other local bloggers to check out beautiful new space and delicious food. If you want “down to earth” food this is your place. It’s a simple “Chipotle” style where you wait in line and create your own pizza, pasta bowl and salad.
The pizza is cooked while you make your other meal choices in line in a wood fired oven and by the time you choose your drink, voila! Your pizza is hot and ready for you. I really liked the simplicity of the menu choices, the food is well above average from your usual fast food choices and $6.99 for a pizza, pasta bowl or salad it makes for a great choice for a quick lunch or dinner when you’re on the go and looking for a “no fuss” place that delivers in budget AND taste – you can’t go wrong with Cucinova.
One thing that will separate Cucinova from all the rest, aside from the fantastic food, is how much they care about their customers. They made it clear how much they want to serve YOU and make connections with their customers. In today’s culture of dying customer service they are standing up for being genuine and caring about each and every person who walks through their doors. Bravo Cucinova.
Perhaps my favorite thing about Cucinova? You can order on their website and skip the line, which we all know will be out the door during the week day lunch hour. So save yourself some time and order online if you’re in a hurry.
